Toast to the Graduates!

Congratulations Graduates, you have closed a chapter and just to begin with another one soon. Despite the busyness, it is also be one of the most exciting and memorable phase of your life, so enjoy the moment and embrace it fully. I had mine not too long ago…

It was also right at that moment I came across Steve Jobs’ inspirational commencement speech. Consequently, I became interested in reading commencement speeches as a source of inspiration.

To start the ball rolling, let me introduce my collection with a timeless (and world’s shortest) commencement speech by Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of United Kingdom in 1941:

“Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

I hope you can absorb the value of this speech as much as I do. And if you want to discover more, check out the other commencement speeches here.
